Johnson Controls India Pvt. Ltd.

Our office is located at House No 218 in Bharthal, which is over in the Dwarka area. It is a residential neighborhood, so it feels a bit different from a typical business district. We converted this house into a workspace for Johnson Controls India Pvt. Ltd. a while ago. It has a bit of a homey feel, with a small staircase and rooms that used to be bedrooms now filled with computers and filing cabinets. We focus on the technical side of things here. There are usually a few engineers or technicians coming in and out with their tool bags and laptops. We don't have a big fancy sign outside, just a small one near the gate. The area is fairly quiet compared to the rest of Delhi, which is nice when we need to concentrate on complex drawings or data. We have a small kitchen where we make tea and sometimes share some biscuits in the afternoon. Most of our work is about making sure systems are running right, so it is very hands-on. We don't spend much time talking about corporate strategy. We just look at the problems in front of us and try to find a way to fix them. The commute can be long for some of the guys, but Dwarka is well-connected. We’ve grown fond of this little house and the neighbors who live on either side of us. It is just a normal, everyday office where people work hard and then go home to their families.
