Our office for Johnson Control Pvt.Ltd. is at 133-F in Mayur Vihar Phase-1. We are located in Pocket-4 of this New Delhi neighborhood. It’s a very lived-in area with lots of apartments and small parks. The office itself is in a building that has seen better days, but it serves our purpose well enough. We have some metal cabinets filled with technical manuals and a few desks that are cluttered with various parts and tools. The windows look out onto the street where there is always someone fixing a bike or selling vegetables from a cart. It gets quite dusty inside, so we have to clean the screens often. We aren't a corporate giant with a shiny lobby; we are just a practical team working in a busy part of East Delhi. The walk from the Metro station isn't too bad, though it can be a struggle when it’s raining and the puddles start to form. We have a small kettle in the corner for making tea, which is basically what keeps us going through the long afternoons. It’s a regular workspace where people come to do their jobs and then head home to their families. We’ve been in Mayur Vihar for some time now and we know the area like the back of our hands. It’s just a normal day-to-day operation for everyone here. We try to keep the noise down for the neighbors living above us as much as possible.
