Jnb Hotels & Resorts is based in Delhi, right here in India. We don’t have a massive headquarters with a hundred floors; it’s more of a local operation handled by a few of us who know the city well. Delhi is a big, messy place, and we’ve spent a lot of time figuring out how things work around here. Our daily routine involves a lot of phone calls and checking on different properties. It’s not always glamorous work. Sometimes we are dealing with maintenance issues or paperwork that seems to never end. We work out of a plain office that has just enough space for our team and a few stacks of folders. The commute in Delhi can be tough, so we’re usually a bit tired when we first get in, but we have a good rhythm once the day starts. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there; we just want to do a decent job with what we have. There are a lot of hotels in this city, and keeping track of everything takes up most of our hours. We don’t have a lot of time for meetings that don't go anywhere. Usually, we just talk over our desks to solve whatever comes up. It’s a very hands-on way of doing things. Jnb Hotels & Resorts is basically just a small group of people working hard in the middle of Delhi.
