J.L.Tours & Travels

J.L.Tours & Travels is based at Rz-205A/16, Tughlakabad Extention, New Delhi-110019. This part of town is always packed with people and the lanes are quite narrow. Our office is tucked away in one of those spots where you really have to know where you are going to find us. We have maps pinned up on the walls that are starting to yellow at the edges, and the desks are covered in notebooks and old receipts. It is a small operation, mostly just us answering the phone and trying to help people figure out their travel plans. Tughlakabad Extension has a lot of energy, but it can be a bit overwhelming with the dust and the noise from the nearby construction. We spend most of our day looking at train schedules or trying to find bus routes that actually run on time. It is a lot of repetitive work, typing names into the computer and double-checking dates. We drink a lot of chai throughout the day to keep going. The office doesn't have much in the way of decoration, just the essentials like a couple of fans and a water cooler that makes a loud noise every ten minutes. We aren't trying to be some big corporate travel agency. We are just here in our corner of the city, doing the paperwork and hoping the internet doesn't go down while we are mid-booking. It’s a lot of small details.
