Jk International is based out of Srinagar, right in the Kara Nagar area. We are positioned just behind the Food Corporation of India building, which is a big landmark for anyone trying to find us. Being in Kashmir means we deal with the seasons as they come—cold winters where we’re huddled near the heaters and beautiful summers when the air is clear. The office itself is quite plain. We have what we need to get the job done, and not much else. It’s a local business, run by people who live right here in the community. We don’t have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy letters for us. We just communicate with our people directly and honestly. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow or the power goes out, but we just wait it out and get back to work when we can. It’s a slower pace of life here compared to the big cities, but we like it that way. We know the neighbors and the other business owners on the street. When you come by, you’ll probably see us drinking some kahwa and looking over our ledgers. We don't try to act like a giant corporation. We’re just a group of people trying to run a decent business and take care of our families. It’s honest work, and we’ve been doing it at this location for a long time.
