Jetlite

Our office is over in Dwarka Sector 4, inside the Hum Sub Apartments. We are in Flat Number F/721 on Plot Number 14. Working out of an apartment building is a bit different from a regular office block. It’s more personal and a lot quieter, except when the neighbors are moving furniture or the kids are playing in the hallway. We handle things for Jetlite from here, mostly focusing on the administrative and support side of things. The rooms are filled with desks and we’ve got maps and schedules pinned to the walls. It’s a bit of a maze with all the boxes of documents. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. You just ring the doorbell and someone comes to let you in. The balcony has a decent view of the sector, and that’s where we usually stand to get some air. We spend a lot of time tracking flights and talking to crews. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we try to keep the atmosphere light. The kitchen in the flat is always stocked with tea bags and biscuits. We aren’t a huge operation here, just a handful of us making sure everything stays on track. Sometimes the lift in the building is out of order, so we get our exercise on the stairs. It’s just a normal day-to-day grind for us in this part of Delhi.
