Jetlite (India) Ltd. Igi Airport, New Delhi

Working at Terminal 1B in Palam is always a bit chaotic for us. Our desk for Jetlite (India) Ltd. is right in the middle of all that airport noise. People are always in a rush, dragging heavy bags and looking at their watches every few minutes. We handle the ticketing and reservations here. It’s not a quiet office job by any means. You hear the announcements and the engines of the planes all day long. We’ve been based at the IGI Airport for quite some time now. It’s a busy life, and we don't really have time for fancy corporate talk or long meetings. We just deal with the passengers, solve the booking problems, and try to keep things moving. Sometimes the computers lag when there are too many people in line, which can be quite stressful for everyone. But we just take it one person at a time and do what we can. The air at the airport always feels different, sort of hurried and temporary. We’re used to the long shifts and the different faces that pass through our counter every hour. Our setup is practical, meant for quick work rather than comfort or style. Most of us have been doing this long enough that we know the airport layout like the back of our hands. We don't promise anything impossible, we just do the job that’s in front of us. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, especially when flights are delayed, but we stay at our post.
