Our base is located over in Dwarka at the Gangotri Apartments. We are in Sector-12, specifically Flat No-415. It’s one of those DDA housing complexes that you see all over this part of New Delhi. Using an apartment as an office means it feels a lot more like a home than a workplace sometimes. We have the living room area set up with a few desks and some filing cabinets pushed against the walls. Being in Sector-12 is handy because the metro isn't too far away, which helps since traffic in Dwarka can get a bit much during the rush hours. We spend a lot of time on the phones or checking emails on our laptops. It's not a place where customers come to hang out, it's more for the administrative side of things. The kitchen is mostly just for making coffee and quick lunches. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up and we have to take the stairs, which is quite a climb to the fourth floor. We have lived and worked in this area for years, so we know the local shops and where to get the best snacks. It is a very normal, everyday sort of setup. We just go about our business in this flat, keeping things organized and making sure the records are kept straight. It’s a simple way to work, and the balcony gives us a bit of a breeze when it’s not too smoky outside. We just keep our heads down and finish our tasks.
