You can find us over in Mahavir Enclave, which is part of the Palam area in New Delhi. The address is Rza1/35. It’s a busy part of town, being so close to the airport, so there’s always the sound of planes overhead. The office is in a regular building, nothing like the big fancy terminals you see. We handle the Jet Airways work from here, which means a lot of phone calls and sorting through schedules. The neighborhood is a bit cramped, and parking is a nightmare if you arrive after ten in the morning. We’ve got a couple of old desks and a computer that takes its time to start up. It’s a bit dusty because of the construction nearby, but we try to keep it clean enough. We don’t really do anything special; we just come in, do the work, and head back home in the Delhi traffic. The 45 area of Palam is where we’ve settled. It’s a practical location for us, even if it’s just a small slice of the city. We have a tea stall around the corner where we usually get our afternoon drinks. It’s not a glamorous life in the aviation business from this side of the desk, but it’s our daily routine. We just keep track of things and make sure the paperwork matches up with what’s happening on the runways. Most days are just about finishing the pile of work on the desk.
