Jet Airways

Our office is situated on the 3rd floor in New Delhi, specifically in the 110008 area. It is a bit of a climb up the stairs since the lift is often acting up or stuck on another level. Jet Airways has been part of the landscape for a long time, and even though things change, we are still here doing our bit every day. The room is filled with the sound of keyboards clicking and the occasional hum of the printer when it decides to work properly. We have posters on the walls that have been there for years and they are starting to curl at the edges. It is not the most modern space you will ever see, but it is where we do all our thinking and planning. Looking out the window, you just see the tops of other buildings and the hazy Delhi sky. We spend most of our time staring at screens and making sure the numbers add up. Sometimes it gets a bit stressful when there is a lot to do, but we usually just crack a joke or go out for a quick smoke to clear our heads. People think working for an airline is all about travel and glamour, but for us on the third floor, it is mostly about spreadsheets and phone calls. We are not trying to impress anyone with fancy furniture or expensive coffee machines. We just show up, do the job, and hope the traffic is not too bad.
