Jet Airways

Our office is located at number 49 on Gaushalla Road in Phagwara. We are quite easy to find because we are right near the Decent Shoes shop. It is a local branch, so we know a lot of the people who walk past our door every day. We handle the local side of things for the airline, mostly dealing with people from the neighborhood who are planning trips or need to change their flights. It is a bit different than the big city offices in Delhi. Here, things feel a bit more personal. We spend a lot of our time on the phone with the main office or trying to explain ticket rules to customers. It is a lot of sitting behind a counter and looking at computer screens. The office is small and we do not have any fancy decorations, just some posters and the basic equipment we need to do our jobs. Sometimes the power goes out or the system is down, and we just have to wait it out like everyone else. We are not here to give you a big sales pitch. We are just local staff doing our best to help people get where they are going. We drink plenty of chai and talk about the news when things are quiet. It is a simple, honest way to make a living here in Phagwara, and we are okay with that.
