Jet Airways

Our office for Jet Airways is over at 6/40, Mohalla Maharam in the Shahdara area of Delhi. It’s an old part of the city and the streets around here are quite narrow and always packed with people and rickshaws. The office itself is quite simple and we’ve been here for a long time. People from the neighborhood come by to ask about flights or to get their tickets printed out because they know us. We have a couple of old computers that we use to check the flight systems and a printer that makes a lot of noise. It’s not the kind of place you see in a fancy magazine, just a practical room where we get the job done. We spend a lot of time explaining things to people who might not travel very often. There’s a lot of paper work involved with travel and we try to keep it all straight so nobody has a problem when they get to the airport. The heat in Delhi-110032 can be quite a lot in the summer but we have a fan that keeps us going. We just do our work, talk to the locals, and make sure the bookings are confirmed. It’s a busy life in Shahdara but we like being right here in the middle of it all. We don't need a lot of space to help people get where they need to go.
