Down here in Sodepur, things move at a bit of a different pace. Our office for Jet Airways is located on Krishnapur Road, specifically in the Sitalatala area near Dhanmath. It’s a familiar spot for everyone around here. We handle a lot of the local queries and the logistics that come with the West Bengal operations. The office has been here for a bit, tucked away in a spot that’s easy for us to get to. It’s not like those big fancy offices you see in the city center. We’ve got some old wooden desks and a lot of files that need sorting every single day. The humidity in West Bengal can be a bit much, especially during the monsoon, but we keep the fans running. Most of the people working here have been with us for years. We know each other’s families and where to get some decent snacks in the afternoon. It’s a small group of us making sure the schedules are being followed and the ground work is handled. Sometimes passengers call in with complicated questions and we just try our hardest to find the right answer. It’s a lot of routine, but it’s what keeps the business running. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. We’re just a local branch doing our part in the Sodepur neighborhood. It gets busy, it gets quiet, and we just keep going through the tasks one by one. It’s a steady job that keeps us connected to the local community in West Bengal.
