We are sitting here in Flat 4E at Jeypore Terrace on Lloyds Road. It is a quiet spot in Gopalapuram. Most days it is just us handling papers and talking to people who come by the door. The building is old but sturdy. We have been in Chennai for a while now. Some days the phones do not stop ringing and other days it is just the sound of the ceiling fan. It is not a fancy glass building or anything. Just a regular place where we get the work done. You have to climb a few stairs to find us. We mostly deal with the admin stuff that keeps things moving behind the scenes. Sometimes the traffic on Lloyds Road gets really loud in the evenings. We drink a lot of coffee from the shop around the corner. We know the neighbors pretty well by now. It is a bit cramped with all the files but we manage fine. We keep the windows open when it is not too dusty outside. People sometimes get lost finding the flat number but once they are inside it is comfortable. It is just a small team here making sure everything stays on track. We do not have a big sign outside, just the name on the door. It feels more like a home than an office most of the time. We just take it one day at a time here in 600086.
