This is where we handle things for Jet Airways Pvt.Ltd. in this part of Himachal Pradesh. Our office is located at S.Y. Lodge, House Number 175, in Ward Number 5. It’s in the Shansherpur area of Paonta Sahib, which is in the Sirmour district. It isn't a typical airport office like you might imagine. It’s a much more modest setup in a local lodge building. We deal with the paperwork and the local side of the operations from here. The surroundings are beautiful because of the mountains, but the work is just regular office stuff. We have a few computers and some filing cabinets that are getting pretty full. It gets cold here in the winters, so we usually have a small heater going. The people who work here are all locals from Paonta Sahib. We know the area well and we know the people who come through. It’s a small team, so we all end up doing a bit of everything. We aren't the big corporate headquarters in the city. We are just a small branch trying to keep things moving smoothly. There’s a lot of coordination involved with the main office. We just stay focused on our tasks and try to keep everything organized. It’s a steady job and we like being part of the community here in Shansherpur. The internet is a bit slow sometimes, but we manage. We just keep the records straight as best as we can.
