We’ve been working out of this spot at A-39 in Adhyapak Nagar for a good while now. It’s right off the Najafgarh Road in Nangloi, which most people around here know can get pretty jammed up with traffic during the rush hours. Our office isn’t anything too special to look at from the outside, just a regular building where we handle the daily grind of running things for the airline. We spend a lot of time on the phones and at our desks dealing with all the logistics that come with flights and passengers. Usually, the morning starts with tea and a quick look at what’s on the schedule for the day. Being in Delhi, it gets quite hot in the summers, so we keep the fans going and just try to get through the paperwork. The neighborhood is a mix of houses and small businesses, so there is always some noise coming from the street. We’ve got a few desks pushed together and some old filing cabinets that have seen better days. It’s a practical space more than anything else. We don’t really go for fancy decorations or anything like that because we are too busy keeping track of everything. People come in and out, the courier drops off packages, and we just keep moving along with the work. It’s just how things go here in this part of town, keeping things steady and making sure the job gets done every day.
