Our location is D-184, Patel Garden. We are right by the Kakrola Mod in the Uttam Nagar area of New Delhi. It’s a spot that’s always busy because of the metro and the main road nearby. The office for Jet Airways India Ltd. here isn't one of those glass towers you see in the movies. It’s a solid, everyday building in a residential and commercial mix. We spend our time dealing with the logistics and the daily grind of the aviation world from the ground. The traffic at Kakrola Mod can be legendary, so we all have stories about how long it took us to get to work. Inside the office, it’s mostly just the sound of keyboards and the occasional phone call. We have a small corner where we keep our lunch boxes. The walls are a neutral color and we have some basic office furniture that has been around for a while. We aren't here to impress anyone with decor. We just have a job to do. Outside, you can hear the horns honking and the people shouting. Uttam Nagar has a lot of character, and we are right in the middle of it. Sometimes we step out for a breather and watch the chaos for a minute. Then it’s back to the desk. It’s a simple life, working in a busy neighborhood, just trying to keep things moving. We stay until the day is done.
