Down here in Janakpuri, at C 2B/101B on the first floor, is where we handle things for Jet Airways. It’s a busy little office in a part of New Delhi that always seems to be moving. We aren't the pilots or the flight attendants you see at the airport; we’re the people behind the desks dealing with the bookings, the cancellations, and all the questions people have about their flights. The office itself is pretty plain, with some old chairs and a lot of computers that have seen better days. We get a lot of walk-ins from the local neighborhood asking about ticket prices or trying to change their travel dates. It can get a bit stressful when a flight is delayed and everyone is looking for answers, but we just try to stay calm and do what we can. We’ve got stacks of manuals and schedules everywhere, and the phone rings more often than we’d like. It’s a lot of typing and talking every single day. We don't have a view of the runway from here, just the street and the shops across the way. We’re just a local branch doing the groundwork so people can actually get to where they’re going. It’s not fancy work, but it’s what we do, and we’ve been at this spot in Janakpuri for a long time now. We just keep at it, one ticket at a time.
