Our office is tucked away at Db-79B in Hari Nagar, which is a pretty lively part of New Delhi. We have been operating from this corner for quite some time now. Most people know the area well. It is not like those huge airport offices you see on TV; it’s more of a practical space where we handle the day-to-day paperwork and customer queries for Jet Airways. Every morning starts with the sound of the shutters going up and the computers hum coming to life. We spend a lot of time on the phones, talking to people about their flights or trying to fix issues with bookings. It can be a bit stressful when flights are delayed or schedules change, but that is just how the airline business goes. The staff here knows the regulars by name. We get a mix of people coming in, from families planning their first big trip to business travelers who are always in a hurry. The office stays busy, especially in the afternoons. We have stacks of files and brochures everywhere. Sometimes the tea man comes by and that’s our little break for the day. We are not into big marketing talk or anything like that. We just focus on the task at hand and try to keep things moving. Hari Nagar has its own rhythm and we are just a part of that daily cycle, making sure passengers get what they need without too much fuss.
