Our place is located in Laxmi Nagar, right near Mangal Bazaar at F-165-166 A. If you know Delhi -92, you know how packed the bazaar gets on certain days of the week. Finding parking around here is a total nightmare most of the time, so we usually just walk or take the metro if we can. The office itself is pretty basic. It is not like those huge five-star buildings you see in the brochures. We handle a lot of the back-end stuff here for the hotel business. There are stacks of files on the desks and people are always typing away on old keyboards. We have a few windows that look out toward the market, but mostly we just see the tops of other buildings and a lot of wires hanging everywhere. Sometimes the noise from the market comes inside, especially when there is a festival going on. We eat lunch together in the small back room. Someone usually brings home-cooked food and we share. It’s a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work. We’ve been in this Laxmi Nagar spot for a good bit of time. It feels like home even if the paint is peeling a little in the corners. We just keep things moving along day by day without making much of a fuss about it. It’s just us doing our jobs.
