Jatak Travels

We operate Jatak Travels out of a house in Ranjeet Nagar. Specifically, we use Puri Niwas, House Number 3052, for all our mail and office work. It’s a busy part of New Delhi, right near the border areas. We spend most of our time on the phone or on the computer trying to sort out tickets and trips for people. It is not a fancy travel lounge with posters of beaches everywhere. It is just a desk in a room where we keep track of bookings. We’ve been doing this for a while, helping folks get from one place to another. Dealing with travel means things change all the time, so we are always busy updating schedules. Sometimes the internet is slow or the phones don't stop ringing, but we just get through it. People come to us because they know we are right here in the neighborhood. We don't have a big corporate team; it's just a few of us making sure people get their travel papers on time. We handle a lot of local correspondence from this address. It’s a practical setup that works for us. We just want to make sure the buses and trains are booked and the customers know where to go. It’s a lot of small details every single day. We keep a pile of maps and schedules on the side table just in case someone walks in with a question.
