Jatak Travels

Our office is tucked away on Street Number 6 in Jwala Nagar. It’s been our home in Shahdara for quite some time. If you’re looking for 583, you’ll find us right there among the other local shops and houses. Jatak Travels is really just a small team of us trying to help people get where they need to go. Whether it’s a bus ticket or a longer trip, we spend most of our day on the phone or looking at schedules. It can get pretty noisy on this street, especially during the morning rush, but we like the buzz. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s just a few desks, some chairs for people to wait, and a lot of paperwork. We’ve seen a lot of people from the neighborhood come through these doors over the years. Some are going to visit family, and others are heading out for work. We try to keep things simple. Dealing with travel can be stressful, so we just try to be a calm spot where things get sorted out. Shahdara is a busy place, and we’re glad to be a part of it. We know the local routes well and usually have a good idea of what’s happening with the transport. It’s honest work and we enjoy seeing people head off on their journeys after stopping by our little office here. It's not always perfect, but we do our best to help everyone out and keep things moving.
