Japan Airlines has this office at A-22, Street No. 3, in Laxmi Vihar. We are located near Kakrola More in the Uttam Nagar area of New Delhi. It is a bit tucked away, but we like it that way. It’s a local branch where we handle the various tasks that keep things moving. We aren't in a big skyscraper. Instead, we work out of this modest building. It’s mostly just us at our desks, dealing with schedules and customer questions. Uttam Nagar is a lively place, so there’s always a bit of noise from the street, but we get used to it. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate goals plastered on the walls. We just come in, do our work, and try to be useful. Sometimes we have to deal with difficult situations, but we just take them one at a time. The office has everything we need, like computers and a coffee machine that works most of the time. We aren't trying to be flashy. We just want to make sure the flights are managed properly from our end. Being in Laxmi Vihar, we feel like part of the neighborhood. People know where we are if they need to talk to someone in person. It’s a very down-to-earth kind of place. We just keep things simple and keep working every day to get the job done right. It is a lot of paperwork, but it's okay.
