Trans Himalaya

Our place is over in Pocket C of Sidhartha Extension, near Jangpura. It’s a quieter spot compared to the main roads. We have this office where we handle all the Trans Himalaya stuff. It’s mostly maps on the walls and a few old computers that have seen better days. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to drivers or checking on routes. The desks are covered in notebooks and pens that usually don’t work. It’s not a fancy setup. We have some wooden chairs for visitors and a tea kettle that’s almost always on. Jangpura is a nice area, and being in the extension means we don’t get as much traffic noise. Sometimes we just sit and plan out the logistics for the next week. It’s a lot of checking and re-checking details. We have some regular people who stop by just to chat about the mountain roads. The floor is tiled and easy to sweep, which is good because people bring in a lot of grit from outside. We don’t have a big sign outside, just a small one near the gate. It’s a steady pace of work. We aren't trying to be the biggest, just trying to get the jobs done without any mistakes. The plants on the windowsill are struggling a bit because of the Delhi sun, but they’re still there. It’s just our daily life here. We usually close up around six or seven in the evening.
