Jaggi Brothers

We’ve been here at Hari Singh Nalwa Street in Karol Bagh for quite a while now. The address is 1926/42 and it’s always busy around here. You know how it is in this part of Delhi, cars honking and people everywhere. Our shop is just a normal place where we get on with things. My brother and I run the show together. Most mornings start with a cup of tea while we wait for the first delivery to arrive. It’s not fancy or anything. The shelves are packed with stuff and sometimes it’s hard to find things, but we know where everything sits. People from the neighborhood stop by, sometimes just to talk or ask for directions. It gets dusty inside because of the street traffic outside but we try to keep it decent. We don’t have some big corporate plan or anything like that. We just show up every day and do what needs doing. Sometimes the lights flicker when the weather is bad. It’s just how it goes in an old building like this one. We deal with whatever comes our way, from fixing small issues to sorting out the stock. It’s a lot of work but it’s our life. We’ve seen the street change over the years, new shops coming and going while we just stay put. It’s a bit cramped in the back room where we keep the extra boxes, but we manage just fine.
