Jagdish Scientific Industries

Our place is at 3729, Kucha Mohattar Khan, right in the middle of Mori Gate. If you’ve ever been down these lanes, you know how tight things can get. We’ve been at this address for years, and not much has changed inside our rooms. Jagdish Scientific Industries is mostly just a group of us working around stacks of equipment and crates that seem to take up every inch of floor space. The building is old, and the stairs are steep, so moving heavy items up and down is always a bit of a workout. We don’t have a big sign out front, just a small one that most people miss the first time they visit. The neighborhood is loud with the sound of rickshaws and people shouting, but once you step inside, it’s a bit quieter, though never truly still. We spend a lot of our time checking over instruments and writing out labels by hand. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, and we just sit by the window until it comes back on. It’s a simple way of working, but it’s what we know. We aren't interested in making things look polished for the sake of it. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to stay organized despite the cramped quarters. There’s a guy who brings around snacks in a basket every morning, and that’s usually the highlight of our workday. We keep things moving as best as we can in this small space.
