J P Communication

If you look for house number 323 on M B Road in Lado Sarai, you’ll find J P Communication. It’s a small shop squeezed between a few other local businesses. We mostly do mobile recharges and fix minor issues with phones. The space is quite narrow, so we have to be careful where we put everything. We have a glass display case near the front that holds some second-hand phones and a few chargers. The walls are mostly bare, except for a few racks holding memory cards and earphones. People from the nearby offices and houses stop by throughout the day. Some days are very quiet, and we just sit by the door watching the traffic go by on M B Road. Other days, we have three or four people waiting at once, and it feels very cramped. We have an old ceiling fan that makes a clicking noise, but it works fine for keeping the air moving. We don't have a fancy computer system; we still write down most of our sales in a thick paper register. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us. The lighting isn't the best in the back of the shop, so we do all the repair work right at the front counter where the sun comes in. We’ve been here for several years and know many of the neighbors. It’s just a regular local spot for phone stuff and basic repairs for people living around here.
