Ivy Bar Dining Resturent

Down in Shakarpur, specifically in the School Block area of Nehru Enclave, you’ll find Ivy Bar Dining Restaurant. We are at S-618. It’s a bit of a tucked-away spot, but that’s part of what makes it what it is. We aren't one of those massive, brightly lit chains you see on the main roads. We are a local place where people from the neighborhood come to get a meal or have a drink after a long shift. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed. We don't have a dress code or anything like that. Our staff is mostly local folks who know the regulars by name. We spend a lot of time in the kitchen making sure the food is decent and that the bar is stocked. It’s hard work, honestly. The hours are long, and we are often here late into the night cleaning up and getting ready for the next day. Sometimes the music is a bit loud, and sometimes it's quiet enough to actually hear yourself think. We’ve had the same tables and chairs for a while, and they’ve seen a lot of stories. We just want to provide a place where you can sit down and not feel rushed. It’s not fancy, and we don't pretend it is. We just focus on the food and making sure the drinks are cold. Shakarpur is a busy place, and we’re just glad to be a small part of the community here. It's our life.
