We are based inside the Hotel Janpath building right on Janpath Road in the middle of New Delhi. Being in such a central spot means we see a lot of people coming and going every single day. It’s a historic area and the building itself has a lot of character, even if it feels a bit old-fashioned compared to the new glass towers popping up elsewhere. Our office is a busy hub for ITDC. We deal with tourism and hospitality matters, mostly focusing on how things are running across our different locations. There are always stacks of papers on the desks and people running around with folders. It’s not a quiet place, but it has a good energy. We don't spend much time worrying about how the office looks. As long as the phones work and we have enough pens, we’re happy. The air conditioning can be a bit moody in the summer, but we’re used to it. Working on Janpath Road means we’re close to everything, which is handy when we have to meet people or get things delivered. We aren't here to give you a polished corporate speech. We're just the people behind the scenes making sure the tourism side of things keeps moving forward. It’s a lot of hard work and long hours, but we’ve been doing it for years and know the ropes pretty well. We just keep our heads down and get it done.
