Our office for Itd Cem India Ltd.(Mnc) is at 118, Raja Ram Mohan Roy Sarni in Kolkata-700009. Even though there is an MNC tag on the name, the day-to-day feel of this place is very much like any other local office in Kolkata. We deal with a lot of construction and engineering stuff, which means there’s always blueprints or some kind of site reports lying around. The building we are in has that old Kolkata character, which is nice but means the stairs are a bit steep. It’s a busy street outside, lots of yellow taxis and people rushing to work. We try to stay organized, but with so many projects going on, the desks are usually covered in papers. We aren't the type to use big words or talk about "world-class" stuff. We just look at the plans, talk to the guys on-site, and try to make sure everything is going according to the schedule. Sometimes there are delays with materials or the rain stops everything for a day, but we just adjust and keep going. It’s a lot of coordination and phone calls. We’ve been at this address for a good while, and the neighborhood feels familiar. We just come in, do the work that needs doing, and head home like everyone else. It’s practical, hard work and we don't pretend it is anything else.
