Itc Welcomheritage

Our office for Welcomheritage is located at 105/5 Eastend Apartments. We are right near the CISF Camp in Indirapuram, Ghaziabad. It’s a bit of a residential area, so it’s quieter than being in the middle of Delhi. We manage a lot of things for the heritage properties from this flat. It’s mostly desks and a lot of brochures scattered around. Being in Ghaziabad, we are close enough to the city but away from the main rush. I take the bus or drive here every morning. The staff is small, just a handful of us working on the bookings and talking to the different hotels. It’s interesting work because you get to hear about all these old beautiful places while sitting in a standard apartment building. We don’t have a big sign outside or anything. You just have to know which block we are in. Sometimes guests call us confused about the location, but we explain it’s just the administrative side of things. We spend a lot of time on the computer and the phone. It’s not as glamorous as the hotels themselves, but the work has to be done somewhere. We keep things pretty simple here. No one wears suits unless there’s a big meeting. We just try to keep the bookings organized and help out the hotel managers whenever they need something from our side. It is a steady routine.
