Our place is actually located in Saharanpur, specifically at 5/2 Gandhi Nagar Colony on Lal Das Road. Even though the name says New Delhi, this is where we do our day-to-day work. The colony is a fairly quiet part of town, though Lal Das Road can get busy with people going to the markets. The building is a regular house that we've adapted for our needs. We have a few rooms set aside for the office work and storing supplies. It’s a bit of a different pace here than in the big city. We start early in the morning before it gets too hot, mostly focusing on organizing the schedules and making sure the staff knows where they need to be. There’s a big tree right outside the front gate that gives us some shade during the middle of the day. We have a few local guys who help us out with the heavy lifting and keeping the place clean. It’s not a fancy hotel building like people might expect from the name, but it’s where we handle all the logistics. We spend a lot of time on the phone or writing things down in our ledgers. The neighbors are all people we’ve known for years, so it’s a very local feel. We just focus on getting the work done without making a big fuss about it. We usually close up once the sun goes down and the street gets a bit more quiet.
