Our place is at 31-B, Pocket-C in Mayur Vihar Phase-2. It’s a residential-feeling area, which makes it feel a bit more like home than a big city street. We have been operating out of this Delhi-91 address for some time now. The building is tucked away, so it stays relatively quiet, except when the school buses go by in the morning. We spend our days managing the various parts of the hotel, from the kitchen supplies to the laundry room. It’s a lot of coordination and sometimes things get missed, so we just fix them and move on. We aren't into big corporate speeches or making everything sound better than it is. We are just a team of people who show up, put on our uniforms, and do what needs doing. The back office is a bit of a mess with folders and old receipts, but we know where everything is. We have a small garden area that we try to keep green, though the heat makes it tough. Most of our guests are people who want to stay away from the noise of the main road. We keep the tea kettle hot and the front desk manned. It's not a high-pressure environment, just a steady stream of chores and people coming through the doors of Mayur Vihar. We are just local workers making sure the place stays open and tidy.
