Our space is in House No-43, right in Room No-5 at Katwaria Sarai. It is not a very big place, just a small room in a busy residential area near Hauz Khas. You have to navigate through some narrow lanes to get here. We spend most of our time coordinating things from behind a desk. It is a bit cramped when more than three people are inside at once, but we make it work. The area is full of students and workers, so there is always movement outside. We handle the basic operations and maintenance stuff that people need. Most of the day is spent on the phone or checking lists. We have a small window that looks out onto the street, which is good for seeing when the food delivery arrives. The fan makes a bit of a clicking noise, but we have stopped noticing it after all these months. It is a very practical setup. We do not have any big signs or posters on the walls. It is just about getting the work done for the day and then heading home. Living and working in South Delhi has its own rhythm, and we are just a small part of that. Sometimes we grab tea from the stall at the corner when the afternoon slump hits us hard. It keeps the energy up until we can finally lock up for the night.
