Ish Travel

We are located on the second floor of Ae-16 in Shalimar Bagh. It’s a quiet enough corner of Delhi, at least compared to some of the main markets. Ish Travel has been working out of this space for a while. It’s not a huge office, just a few rooms where we sit and figure out travel plans for people. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit narrow, so you have to watch your step. Most of our day is spent looking at schedules and trying to find prices that don't break the bank. We aren't miracle workers, but we know how the systems work. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to wait for pages to load, which can be frustrating when a customer is waiting. We don't use any slick marketing talk here. If a flight is at a bad time, we’ll tell you it’s a bad time. We prefer being honest about what’s available rather than trying to sell something that won't work. The office has a few plants that we sometimes forget to water and piles of old travel magazines that nobody really looks at anymore. It’s a comfortable place to work, though. We know the other shop owners on the street and sometimes grab lunch from the stall around the corner. We just focus on getting people from point A to point B without any extra fuss. It’s simple work but we like it.
