We are based right out of Sarai Kale Khan in Delhi. It’s one of the busiest spots you can imagine, with the bus terminal and the railway station all right there. Our spot is pretty basic, just an office where we deal with all the stuff related to train travel and catering. If you’ve ever been to Sarai Kale Khan, you know it’s a bit chaotic with people running everywhere to catch their transport. We are right in the middle of that mess, trying to keep things organized. We handle a lot of the backend stuff for the trains, making sure the food is ready and the bookings are sorted out. It’s not a quiet job, that’s for sure. The noise from the traffic and the trains is always in the background. We have a small crew here, and most of us have been doing this for years. We don't have time for anything fancy; we just focus on the task at hand. Sometimes the queues get long, and people get a bit impatient, but we just keep moving through the work. It’s a vital part of the city’s transport system, and we’re just a small piece of that puzzle. The office is a bit old and could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it serves its purpose. We see thousands of people passing by every day, each one going somewhere different. It’s a lot of work, but someone has to do it.
