Irctc

The Irctc office here is at 1-A Dujana House, right in the middle of Matia Mahal near Jama Masjid. If you have ever been to this part of Delhi-6, you know it is always crowded and full of life. The smells of food from the nearby stalls are always around us. Our place is quite old, like most buildings in this area, but it has a lot of character. We spend our days dealing with a lot of people who come in asking about trains and tickets. It can get very loud outside with the rickshaws and people walking by, but inside we just keep focused on the computer screens. The space is a bit tight because Dujana House is an old structure. We have some fans running to keep the heat away, and there is always a bit of dust because of all the activity in the street. We don't really do much advertising because people just know we are here. Most of the people working here have lived in Delhi for a long time. We drink a lot of chai and talk to the locals while we work. It is a very practical setup without any shiny furniture. We just want to make sure the bookings and questions are handled correctly. It’s a busy life here in the heart of the old city, but we wouldn't have it any other way.
