Irctc

Our office is tucked away at A-50 in Rama Park, right here in Uttam Nagar. If you know the area, you know it gets pretty crowded around here with all the shops and people moving about. Irctc is what we do, which mostly means dealing with train tickets and all the many questions that come with them every single day. People come by the office all the time asking about seat availability or how to cancel a booking they made online. It’s a lot of sitting at desks and staring at screens for hours on end. The New Delhi heat can be a bit much in the summer months, but we have the fans going to keep us somewhat cool. We have been in this spot for a bit now. It’s not a corporate skyscraper or anything like that. Just a regular building where we get our work done. We see a lot of regular faces from the neighborhood. Some people just stop in because they find the online system too confusing to handle on their own. We help them out when we can. There is always a stack of files on the desk that never seems to get smaller no matter how much we work. We take our lunch breaks together when it’s quiet enough. It is just a local workplace where we handle the logistics of travel. Nothing too exciting happens, but it keeps us busy from morning to evening. We just do our best here.
