This office is situated at 300/9 in the Railway Colony over in Shakurbasti. It's part of the Ranibagh area in New Delhi 110034. Since it’s a railway colony, you can imagine what it’s like—lots of old buildings, mature trees, and tracks nearby. We spend our days here handling the various tasks that come with being part of the railway system. It’s a lot of routine work, checking things over, filing papers, and making sure the system keeps running for everyone. The office itself is pretty basic, with old files and computers everywhere. We don't really do much to make it look fancy because there’s no real need for that in our line of work. We just focus on the work at hand. Most of us have been here for years, so the sound of the trains passing by is just background noise to us now. It’s a community feel around Shakurbasti, where everyone kind of knows each other’s faces. We take our breaks, have our tea from the vendor outside, and then get back to whatever needs doing on the desk. It’s a steady kind of life, nothing too fast or too slow. We don't have any big corporate slogans or mission statements posted on the walls. We just show up every morning, do the work, and go home to our families. If you're looking for us, you have to find the right gate in the colony, which can be tricky if you are new.
