International Travel House is tucked away in the Pharma Apartments in I.P. Extension. Our unit is B-9/109. It’s a residential area, so it’s usually quieter than the main roads of New Delhi. We have a few rooms set up for the office work. The walls are painted a plain white, and there are some calendars hanging up to keep track of the dates. It’s a 110092 area code if you are looking for us on a map. We have a lot of regular clients who just call us up instead of coming over. The balcony looks out over the inner courtyard of the apartment complex. Sometimes we see the kids playing down there in the afternoons. We have a small printer that jams quite often, which can be annoying when we are in a hurry. Our desks are mostly cluttered with papers and staplers. We don't really do the whole corporate dress code thing here. It’s more about getting the bookings done and making sure the tickets are printed correctly. We keep some extra chairs for when a few people show up at once. It’s a steady kind of life, coming in every morning and going through the pile of tasks. We like being in this part of Delhi because it feels more like a community. There is a small tea shop near the gate where we get our ginger chai.
