We are up on the 3rd floor of a DDA flat in Madangir, number 01/18. It’s a walk-up, so you get a bit of exercise coming to see us. In this part of New Delhi, space is tight, so our office is packed with computers and cables everywhere. We do a lot of tech support and back-end work here. It’s usually pretty loud with the sound of fans and people talking on headsets. We aren't one of those fancy IT parks with a gym or a cafeteria. We just have our desks and a small corner for making tea. The light in the office is a bit dim, but we prefer it that way for looking at screens all day. Outside, the Madangir streets are always full of life and noise, which you can hear even through the windows. We’ve been in this flat for a few years now. Sometimes the internet goes down and we all have to take a break until it comes back, which gives us a chance to actually talk to each other. We don't have a formal dress code or anything; we just wear what’s comfortable and get to work. It’s a busy little hub where we solve problems for people who are far away. It’s not a glamorous life, but we like the work and the people we work with. We keep a stash of extra keyboards in the cupboard because someone always spills their tea eventually. It’s just how things go when you’re busy all the time.
