Interglobe Enterprises Ltd has a spot here at M-18, B-4 in Dilshad Garden, Delhi-110095. It’s a residential-style block that houses quite a few offices like ours. We are on the ground floor, mostly. Dilshad Garden is a bit far from the main hub, but it’s a good place to work. It’s a bit quieter than central Delhi. Our space at M-18 is filled with desks, computers, and a lot of wires tucked under the tables. We handle a lot of the back-end stuff here. It’s not a showroom or a store. We don’t have customers walking in every minute. Most of our work is done over the internet or on the phone. The team here is small and we’ve been together for a while now. We know who likes their coffee strong and who forgets to turn off their monitor at night. The B-4 area has some nice trees, which is a relief during the hot summer. We don't have a big cafeteria, just a small corner with a kettle and some biscuits for the afternoon. It’s a steady job in a steady neighborhood. We don’t have flashy advertisements on the walls. Just the calendars and maybe a few notes taped to the monitors to remind us of deadlines. We just show up, do our hours, and head back to our homes in the evening. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living in New Delhi. We are just a part of the local life.
