Our office is just a small room in a residential building. It’s not fancy at all, but it serves its purpose. We have a lot of papers stacked up on the table, and the phone rings quite often with people asking questions. Sometimes the cows walk right past the front door, and you have to wait for them to move. It’s a real New Delhi experience working out of this spot. The walls could use a new coat of paint, but we are too busy to worry about that right now. We drink a lot of chai from the shop around the corner to keep ourselves going during the day. There is no big sign outside, just the building number on the wall. We do our best to keep things organized even though the space is quite tight. It’s a humble place, very different from a big hotel lobby, but this is where the actual legwork gets done every single day by Vinay and the rest of us.
