Intercontinental-Nehru Place

Even though we are connected to Intercontinental-Nehru Place, our actual work happens over in Janak Puri at A/1B-89. It’s a different vibe here in New Delhi-58 compared to the busy commercial hubs. The neighborhood is a mix of houses and small businesses, so it feels a bit more like home. We’ve got desks squeezed into the space, and there is usually a stack of files that never seems to get any smaller. Most of the time, we are busy coordinating things for the hotel, but from this distance. It means a lot of calls and emails going back and forth all day. The commute to Nehru Place can be a real pain with the Delhi traffic, so being based here has its own set of pros and cons. We don’t have a fancy sign or a big glass front. It’s just a door and some stairs. We usually order lunch from the local shops nearby because it’s easy and quick. The air conditioner makes a bit of a rattling noise, but it keeps us cool enough when the Delhi heat kicks in. It’s a straightforward environment. We show up, do the admin work, and try to keep everything organized so the hotel operations run without a hitch. It’s not a glamorous setup, but it’s where the actual planning gets done by regular people just doing their jobs. We don't have much time for polish.
