Our office is located at 402, Kohat Enclave in Pitam Pura. It’s a fourth-floor space that looks out over the busy streets of Delhi. While the name sounds big, our daily reality here is quite grounded. We handle a lot of the administrative side of things for the hotels. This means lots of paperwork, filing, and answering calls from different departments. The office is usually a bit cluttered with folders and binders. We’re right near the metro station, so it’s easy for everyone to get to work, even when the traffic is bad. We have a small pantry where we make our own coffee and share snacks in the afternoon. It’s not like the fancy lobbies of the hotels we work for; it’s just a practical workspace with desks and phones. We’ve been in this building for some time and know the security guards and the other office workers on our floor. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the backup to kick in, which gives us a minute to chat. We spend a lot of time on the computer, checking bookings and making sure the records are right. It’s a lot of routine, but we like the people we work with. No one here is trying to be anything they aren't. We just show up, do the work, and head home on the metro like everyone else.
