We’re located over in Kalkaji at K-39A. It’s a well-known area in New Delhi, and our office fits right in with the other businesses around here. It’s a typical BPO setup. You’ll find rows of desks with computers and people wearing headsets most of the time. The office has that specific smell of electronics and carpet that most of these places have. We work in shifts, so there’s always someone coming or going. The morning shift people are usually a bit quiet until they’ve had their first cup of tea. By the afternoon, the place is buzzing with voices. We’re not in a huge, flashy building, just a solid office space where we get the work done. Kalkaji has some great food nearby, so we often go out for lunch or order in from the local spots when we are too busy to leave. The traffic in the evening can be a real headache, so many of us stay a bit later just to avoid the worst of it. We deal with all sorts of customer queries and data entry. It’s not always exciting, but it’s steady. The furniture is functional and the AC is usually running to keep the machines from overheating. We just keep our heads down and handle the tasks as they come in. It’s a simple routine that works for us and keeps us busy.
