Institute Of Bartending & Operations Management

Our place is the Institute Of Bartending & Operations Management. We are located at C/612 on the 6th floor of the Royal Tower in I.C. Colony. That’s in Borivali West, Mumbai 400 103. It’s a pretty active neighborhood. Being on the 6th floor gives us a bit of a view, though we are mostly looking at other buildings. We teach people how to work in bars and how to manage the whole operation. It’s a lot of hands-on practice. We have shakers and bottles and all the equipment you’d see in a real bar. The students come in and practice their pours and mixes over and over. It gets a bit loud when everyone is working at once. It’s not just about making drinks, we also go over the business side of things. The office part is just a few desks where we handle the enrollments and the paperwork. The elevator in Royal Tower can be a bit slow during the busy hours, but we don't mind too much. It’s a solid spot for learning a trade. We aren't trying to be a fancy college or anything. We just show people what they need to know to get a job in the industry. The air conditioning is usually running full blast because it gets warm with so many people moving around. It’s a busy, practical environment where people come to learn and then head off to find work.
