Inpac Tours

Our setup for Inpac Tours is currently operating out of a space that’s basically a home base for the travel work we do. The address says Resume because things have been shifting around, but the work stays the same. We spend most of the day on the phone or checking routes for the groups coming through. It is a lot of back and forth with drivers and making sure the hotels actually have the rooms they promised. Running a tour business isn't all about looking at pretty pictures of vacations. Most of the time, it’s just us sitting at desks trying to figure out why a bus is late or if the weather is going to ruin a trip. We handle a lot of the small details that people don't really see when they are on holiday. It gets busy, especially during the peak seasons when everyone wants to be somewhere else at the same time. We have a small team here, and everyone just kind of chips in where they can. If the phones are ringing off the hook, we all pick up. It's not a corporate environment with lots of rules and meetings. We just try to stay organized and keep track of all the itineraries on our screens. It is a bit of a mess sometimes with all the paperwork, but we get it done. We’ve been doing this long enough to know how to handle the hiccups that always happen.
