Our office is located in Mohan Garden, over in the Uttam Nagar area of Delhi. The address is a bit of a mouthful, K-1 Extension 117A, but once you find the right lane it’s easy enough. We handle road transport, so there is always a lot of talk about trucks, routes, and timing. The office is usually a bit messy with logbooks and delivery receipts piled up. It’s a busy neighborhood and there’s always something going on outside our door. We’ve been doing this transport work for quite some time now. Most of our day is spent on the phone with drivers or checking where a shipment has gotten to. It isn't a glamorous job by any means. It’s dusty work and involves a lot of waiting for things to move. Delhi traffic is a constant topic of conversation here because it affects everything we do. We have a small team sitting in a few rooms, just trying to keep the schedules straight. Sometimes a truck breaks down or a road is closed, and then everyone is scrambling to fix the plan. We don't have a fancy corporate setup with polished floors. It’s a practical workspace meant for getting things moved from point A to point B. We just focus on the trucks and the cargo and hope the weather stays clear enough for the drivers to make their time. It’s just how the transport life goes for us here in Uttam Nagar.
