We are working out of an office here in Delhi. It’s one of those big buildings with lots of glass and concrete. The day starts early for some of us and very late for others because of the different shifts. We have a lot of rows of desks with headsets and monitors everywhere. It’s never really quiet in here because there is always someone talking or typing. The coffee machine in the break room is the most popular spot in the whole place. We spend hours looking at data and answering calls from people all over. Outside, the Delhi weather is usually either too hot or too dusty, so we stay inside with the air conditioning on full blast. The elevators are always crowded during the lunch hour. We don't really have a lot of personal stuff on our desks, just the basics like a water bottle or maybe a small plant. There are big windows but we usually keep the blinds down to stop the glare on our screens. It’s a fast-paced environment where we have to keep track of everything on the clock. We go through a lot of pens and notebooks every week. Even though it's a big operation, we have our own small groups where we chat during breaks. It's just a regular workplace in the city. We mostly just focus on hitting our daily targets.
